NorQuest College located in Edmonton, AB is hosting in-person cohorts for the Autism CanTech! (ACT!) Program, an innovative program for Autistic youth between the ages of 18-30 who want to work in the computer and technology sectors. Located at their 108th Street campus, this fully federally-funded 6 month program includes four months of employability and technical related skills training, support provided by on-site Career Coaches, and the on-site ACT! Centre, as well as a two month paid internship located within Edmonton, that utilizes ground-breaking assistive technology from Technology North known as RoboCoach that allows Career Coaching, parent/guardian interactions, as well as direct task assigning by employers to make for a successful work integration.
